
China will publish January prices for producer and consumer consumers on Friday. This is a small day for Asia-Pacific’s economic activity.
After December’s flat monthly reading and December’s 1.8% yearly gain, inflation is expected to increase by 0.7 percent and 2.1 percentage on month. After falling 0.7 percent in December, producer prices are expected to drop 0.5 percent over the year.
Japan will release January producer price data for January. Forecasts suggest a rise of 0.3 percent per month and 9.6percent per year. This is in line with the 0.5 percent monthly and 10.2 percent per year decreases for December.

Malaysia’s Q4 figures for gross domestic products will be released. Forecasts call for an increase in 6.6 percent, down from the 14.2 percent reported three months ago.
Thailand will receive January results from its consumer confidence index. In December, it was 49.7.
