According to Italian regulators, three of these companies operate illegal websites for financial intermediation and another is a website that facilitates the sale of financial products in the absence a prospectus.
Consob can block websites providing illegal financial services by internet service providers.
The regulator has stated:
Internet service providers in Italy are currently blocking these websites. The blackout can take up to several days due to technical issues.
