Discord and Telegram are popular apps for trading and market participants. Similar to these apps, MQL5 Channels allows users to subscribe trading channels, follow market developments, or create a channel to promote their expertise.
MetaQuotes, however, stated that its primary goal is to assist MetaTrader 5 users through creating corporate chats and supporting communities as well as optimizing trading-related communications.
MetaQuotes also emphasised that the company “sticks to high-security requirements” to assure the secure exchange of confidential data via the app, which is also said to be able to deliver messages even with a poor internet connection.
In September 2022, Apple removed MetaQuotes’ MT4 and MT5 trading platforms from its App Store due to non-compliance with guidelines. Although no reason was given, there were many speculations online that the removal was caused by the increasing number of frauds using the MT4 or MT5 apps.
