As it fights for soaring prices, the BoE increased UK interest rates to their highest levels in 14 years.
It raised interest rates by 3.5% for the ninth consecutive year.
At 10.7%, the inflation rate remains more than five times higher than the Bank’s 2% target, but it eased slightly in November.
